Alexie and Christian Tie the Knot

Saltwater Farm Vineyard is set on more than 100 panoramic acres – 15 of which are planted with six varieties of grapes, and bordered by tidal marshes, a cove and vistas of Long Island Sound, near the historic New England coastal village of Stonington, Connecticut.

The centerpiece of the bucolic property, which has a small private airport dating to the late 1930s, is a World War II – vintage hangar, designed by the late architect John W. Lincoln, a colleague of Walter Gropius. The hangar, opening onto terraces and the vineyard, has been preserved and converted into a winery. The seamlessly renovated building showcases a vaulting roof, silvery milled aluminum exterior, the original interior wood sheathing and, dominating the airy room and gathering places, handsome and massive timber trusses.

Saltwater Farm Vineyard is an ideal setting for celebration or for contemplation depending on the occasion.

The “Day After” Session

We had a beautiful afternoon at Liberty State Park. Doreen and Michael will be married on July 2nd, 2011 at : II Villagio in NJ.

I  had such a great time working with Alyce and Mark!  I absolutely love shooting E-Sessions with my clients because it’s such a wonderful way to get to know them before their wedding day. There is so much more ease when we work together at their wedding. Wedding day:  April 29th at the Crystal Spring Resort in NJ. Alyce and Mark chose Spring Lake for their E-Session because that’s where they got engaged.

Sarah and Shawn chose The Lafayette Theatre for their “Day After Session”. The Lafayette Theatre is a nationally acclaimed, 1923 movie palace located in downtown Suffern, New York. I photographed their wedding on February 3, 2007. One and half years later, I documented their maternity and then two years after that, I got to do the Christmas pictures of their beautiful little girl.   Images by Josie

What a pleasure it was working with Nicole and George. Their wedding was full of beautiful handmade details and charm and fun! Nicole made the bouquets, boutonnieres, the invitations and the programs and more. Even their Reception Venue was unique. The Women’s Club of Glen Ridge. A Georgian Club House built in 1925 packed full of charm.  Photos by Josie.

Dana and Mike were married at The Grand Summit Hotel in Summit New Jersey. What a great wedding and fabulous party.  The music was performed by the “Band of Gold” and The Summit Hills Florist did the flowers.

I guess we don’t drink that everyday!
